We have just had someone drive their car into the front gates of our garden wall resulting in the whole wall having to be rebuilt.
Can you let me know if we wanted to rebuild the garden boundary wall which faces the street and remove the gates completely and rebuild the wall in exactly the same format balustrades etc. but no gates. Who would we need to notify, or can we do this without the need to get any formal approval from the town hall, urbanisation etc. Many Thanks Ian and Sue |

You do not require a licence from the Town Hall. However you will require permission from the community of owners if other properties or complexes of the same community were having the same gates, so its removal would affect the appearance of the building.
For further information please contact us.
