Default I thought she was a solicitor

The person doing my conveyancing has been negligent. I signed my escitura on 1st August 2008 and an embargo was placed on my property on 17th April 2009 by a creditor of the builder because the property had not been registered in my name at the land registry. I think the conveyancer was negligent. I was going to make a complaint to the law society but I have discovered that she is not registered as a solicitor in Spain. I would not have used her if I had know that she was not a qualified solicitor. Can you please tell me who regulates companies like this that provide legal advice but who are solicitors. Who can I complain to?
    Many thanks

You should report it at the "Direccion General de Consumo" (office of citizen's complaints). Apart from that, you should contact a solicitor to urge a third-party claim to ownership to take the embargo off as the builder was not the owner of the house when the embargo was placed.
