Public Liability/Responsabilidad Civil on insurance

Could you advise an amount which is considered reasonable to insure for Public Liability on Spanish contents/building insurance. In the UK we will insure for sums of £2 million pounds but the amounts in Spain are much lower. I would like to ensure that I am covered for the correct amount.

The civil liability depends on the risk, but we understand that an amount of 300.000 Euros would be sufficient for an average property that is a permanent residence. However, it will depend on the person, family and others that may live together, and also on the construction and the risk that could be valued against a third party.
