Whenever there properties in Spain, it makes it necessary to grant a Spanish Will before a Notary Public to avoid difficulties in the future. You are allowed to prescibe any person you want to appoint as your inheritor. It is important to highlight that the Spanish Will is to cover your assets in Spain and will not interfere in any other Will that you may have in other countries.
About the requirements of the Will in Spain, this will have to be written in Spanish and English, being necessary the services of a translator to guarantee that what you say in your Will is correct in the Spanish and English version.
Regarding the costs of the Wills these may differ from one Notary to another.
