  • Water leak from flat above

Hi, When we were at our flat over Xmas we noticed that there was a damp patch on our kitchen ceiling coming from the kitchen of the flat above. I pushed a note under the door of the flat with my email address but got no reply. I have emailed the management company who said that they would push another note under their door before we are next out in Spain. Does anyone know where we stand with this situation if the owner of the flat doesn't get back to us?
    Thanks, Rachel

This is an old message but could be as valid for someone today. Normallythe person who has the damage has to call their insurance company and the compnay will send an assessor to look at both apartments. The insurance company will need to contact the President or the Administrator of the building to get the details of the keyholder or owner of the apartment above. I hope your issue was resloved swiftly and effectively.
