How do we get it back as quick as is possibe; go back to the UK get a Sky Box and card back here and a 2 meter dish easy. But is that what is wanted some do not have facilities for a 2 meter dish. So legal good service company is whats need, but how?

Working in a bar near Playa Los Locos last night I got speaking to a couple of English residents who have heard that Telmicro will definitely be rebroadcasting and will be including Canal Plus (with Sky Sports etc) in the package!? I dont know how true this information is but would be nice to think that Telmicro will give us all our viewing back with these new channels and maybe even a couple of months free! Sorry was in fantasy land there for a moment!! But seriously I hope it is all finally sorted out soon and my wife can get over her Corrie, DeadEnders etc withdrawal symptoms!!
            Thanks for the info Steve.
I do tend to produce a lot of wording in my forum entries, however, like many including your wife I am shocked we are left with no broadcast, no Telmicro communications etc etc.
I have watched so many DVD movies lately I am running out of new one's to watch.
I still find it hard to believe as an IT person that Telmicro have no "official" website where they could at least had the decency to tell us what the current situation is, especially, as reported in the RTN, cops were seen with envelopes brimming with cash. Not short of a "few bob" so to speak.
I will still continue to examine the possibility of a new broadcast package with proft sharing for subscribers and I would hire people specifically if I have a probably broadcasting to ring each and every one of my customers to explain the situ. When I receive a good service, any service, I am loyal to it from there on.
Lets hope we get back what we have already been paying for and if I crack the walls to proving an alternative broadcasting company I'll post it so people can make a choice.
Lastly, I can't comprehend that after the treatment we have received from Telmicro, they expect the individual customer relations to continue as though nothing has happened. Talk about extremely arrogant !, almost acting like we have no other choice in the world but Telmicro.
Fingers crossed we at least get TV back and people can take stock then on their next move.
Tell your wife its killing me that the Premiership has just kicked off and I love my Saturday afternoon with Jeff Stelling on Sky Sports 1 and I miss House ( Hugh Laurie ) and not been able to see much of the olympics. Crazy situ.
I cross everything I don't need to load another DVD movie I watched last week.
            Thanks again for the info

My Husband really enjoys his sport, especially Formula 1, football, and GAA. He is desperately trying to find a bar that will screen the F1 from Valencia next weekend. We are also big fans of Jeff Stelling, we miss his company and comic asides. I also mourn the loss of House, Hugh Laurie is a force to be reckoned with, his acting is superb. We have watched four dvd's in the past few days, some that we have had for years. But had never bothered to watch. We are not huge television viewers, but now that it has gone, we sorely miss it.

We have in the past few days looked at alternative suppliers. One (no names) quoted us over 1000 euros, and the installation of a 2.9 metre dish. This would require cementing on our solarium, at extra cost. We could possibly receive pictures from any Space Station, but without it BBC2 would be weak!!!! But still we do not have the ultimate answer, "would any of this still be legal"????

My Husband and I converse for most of the day, but as a couple who took early retirement, we do need diversity. We both read, have our own computers, swim, socialise, travel and frequent the local bars and restaurants. But at times you want just to sit and be entertained. I have series one and two of House on dvd, I shall have to limit myself to one a week. Who would have thought, moving to Spain would have resulted in a House detox!!!!!!!!!

                • Sunshine FM just made an announcement on behalf of Telemicro. Claiming they have all the proper documentation to broadcast in Spain. They didn't say what they chanels they are allowed to broadcast though. Apparentley Telemicro are going to the British Consulate today and hope to be back on the air shortly.

The statement didn't tell us why they were raided and shut down. I thinks that's what we all really want to know.

We love F1 too and to be honest we prefer to watch it on Spanish TV anyway. It is far less biased and I get so fed up with hearing about Saint Hamilton!

                        • the spanish are not unbaised when it comes to their own countrymen ( neither are we). but look at the way hamilton was treated in Barcelona by spanish racists, and our own footballers at european matches in "unbaised spain". spanish tv only concentrates on alonso. watch the olympics? nadal nadal nadal thats all they show.

                          • Yes, its called "public interest" why would TVE transmit the olympics about some canadian/japanese/american/nigerian/etc etc etc horsetrainer, if no-one in Spain wants to watch it?
Me too miss a diferent coverage of the olympics, but Cest la Vie.

How much cover do you think the Greek chess tournament will get on English TV?

With regards to Hamilton. Its not the colour of his skin that makes Spanish dislike him. Its for the constant favouritsm and cheating.
