Bureaux de change torrevieja

Hi does anyone know where there is a bureaux de change in torrevieja,last few times we have been to torre we have had a really hard time changing pounds too euros,even the banks refused ..can you help,thanks gasehound.

No bureaux de change here! you need to go into the bank with your passport! Do not bring euro cheques to Torrevieja as they are impossible to exchange and only a couple of banks will change them for you. Think best banks to exchange sterling with is Santander or the Deuschte (Sp) Banks. But will charge around 3% commision.

Thanks fudgey, ,will do,but it does seem odd that a coastal resort does not have any bureau de change,regards gasehound

It is not a holiday resort in the sense of the word as is Benidorm & Blackpool that is your problem, why not get your euors before you come will save you wasting precious hoilday time looking for somewhere to change your money

No where except maybe airports has them now - they all but died when the Euro arrived. Most Europeans don't need them!
