powerlifting/weightlifitng clubs

its a long shot but are there any in the torrevieja area? are there any well equipped gyms in the ares where one might do some training if there are no clubs.

There is a new gym that has opened up right by Sprinter + Hnos Garcia (along the Crevillente Rd), take the slip Rd by McDonalds and it's just down that slip Rd, never been in it so wouldn't know if it would be what you want or not, there are also a few others scattered about, one being by the Friday Market and also what looks like a big one up at Playa Flamenca (Max Gym) up above the toy shop on the N332.

Im going to call into MAXX gym next time im over. if im going to be spending more time in the area im going to need a place to train
