    Predeterminado BIRDWATCHING

Are there any (English speaking) local birdwatching clubs or outings?

I would really like to learn about what the local Salt lakes have to offer as well as the Mountains. I did stop off at the Tourist Info office at The salt lake at La Mata and nobody spoke English and all i could lay my hands on was one little leaflet that i later lost.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi CJ
That's a big problem in Spain - that they only speak Spanish. Not like the UK of course where everybody speaks, french, italian, spanish, german etc, etc.

In any international government aided visitor/tourist center they usually provide multi-lingual guides!

Before i visited i had also seen a tv programme saying that most of the staff there were British!

I understand that there are some bird enthusiasts who go to the nature area at La mata where there is a bird hide?
