Division of an Urbanisation

We are on a large urbannisation of 250 plus properties including detached semi detached properties and apartments, which a number of residents think is too large

Is it possible to sub divide the existing urbanisation into smaller units or indeed can say a block of 40-50 property owners form their own community either as a seperate unit or a sub unit of the main urbanisation

The community could be divided provided that the communal areas can be separeted and there is an agreement between all the owners to do it.

It is very likely that general aspects will affect the whole urbanisation, having to keep the community of owners for the whole complex or joint association. On the other hand, the small communities would resolve their own problems.

All the above mentioned has to be agreed by the owners as a whole.
