title deeds

we want to sell our apartment which we completed on last august but we havent received the title deeds yet. our agent says that the sale can go ahead without the title deeds as we have a copy of the escurita which we signed at the notary. However when we approched another agent , he said we couldnt sell without having the orignal title deeds. Which one is true?

Please be advised that the original documentation for the sale of the apartment is not required. An official copy (Copia simple) will be required, and the notary will apply for a land registry search to the Land Registry in order to check that the information is correct.
