In the unique career of the King of rock ‘n’ roll (Elvis Presley) there have been many great tribute artists over the years, but few have managed to recreate his entire musical career with accuracy. That is until Mario Kombou was voted the 2005 images of the king world champion in Memphis Tennessee, Where Elvis’s own cousin Donna stated “The best Elvis since Elvis”. Mario has proved himself to be the “King”.

With Extensive auditions throughout the UK and Broadway attended by thousands of hopefuls “Mario” Landed the lead role in London’s West End production of Jailhouse Rock as Vince Everett, the roll made famous by Elvis which many critics considered his greatest movie performance.

Mario was born and raised in London, He has been performing his Elvis tribute for approximately 12 years. Trained as an actor at The Academy of Live And Recording Arts.

Mario has appeared worldwide in film, television, radio and theatre as well as in many newspapers and magazines. His shows have taken him as far as Australia, New Zealand, Europe and across the USA.

Mario was chosen to sing the UK’s 1000th No.1 Single by The King “One Night” live on Top Of The Pops. As well as performances on Television shows such as “GMTV” and “This Morning”, Mario performed the National Anthems for the “Barbarians” and also the “All Blacks” at Twickenham in front of 70,000 people also millions of viewers on TV.

Mario is the only tribute artist to have been officially endorsed by a member of the Presley Family
