Those of you missing your "fix" of live pro football should get down to the Vicente Garcia Stadium and watch FC Torrevieja. We are desperate to increase our attendance figures which currently top the 1,500 range.
The Club came through a very traumatic season last year where it nearly went bust. This season, with a new committee made up of Spanish and Brits, the Club is on a much more sound financial basis.
BUT, we still need more people through the turnstiles.

Prices are 12e for gents, 8 for ladies and OAPs with kids under 16 FREE.
Season tickets are 120 for gents, 80 for ladies and OAPs and kids U 16 FREE.
This season, the club encourages and can cater for fans with disabilities.

A programme - 40 pages of colour - is available for every game and all the usual canteen things (burgers, drinks etc) are available. A full club shop is also available on matchdays inside the ground (with ideal gifts for Xmas).

Have a look at the official website on Torrevieja Football Club - Torry Army - Home (http://www.fctorrevieja.eu) for more info and match details.

We are at "Home" this sunday with a 5pm kick off. Tickets are available on the gate

should get the media more and more involved in good local stuff like this.
Are the latest media people like Viva, wave, good times and zest involved?

The local media, both spanish and Brit are involved and have been for weeks. But media interest goes further than local, as it has been announced that spanish tv "CUATRO" are sending a crew to cover the match. Also Canal +, Liverpool TV, BBC Anglia, so this match is having a huge mediatic impact.

The band of cheer leaders coming over from Ipswich to perform at the game appear to be of particular interest to certain members of the Torry Army!

what ever happened to equal oportunities ? if the prices where switched there would be up roar and you would be accused of being sexist ? or when it suits the females keep quiet ?

all males agree ?
all females no doubt disagree ?

why does it have to be a sexist thing?

The committee at FC Torrevieja want to encourage MORE youngsters and Ladies to attend matches, hence a reduced price for Ladies and FREE entry to under 16´s.

There will also be half price season tickets on sale in the very near future - a perfect Christmas prezzie for some.
