removal costs uk - torre

We are thinking of moving permently to Torre in 2006, can anyone give me a rough idea of removal costs from the uk to Torre. We would probably need one large removal van.

Is it cheaper to sell everything in the uk and buy new in spain?

Has anyone thought of containerising and shipping to Alicante?

Our journey would be from "White stilletoe county" - Essex to Torre

Ball park figures and any do's and don'ts would be appreciated

Hi Bridgie,

We used Digbys, based in Basildon. Great company, very professional, good service and reasonable price. They have one van permanently doing the run from Essex into France and down the Spanish coast. They even picked up our stuff in two smaller vans cos we lived in a cul-de-sac and they couldn't get the big van down. No extra cost. I think off the top of my head it was about 1500 quid for the whole lot.
