Trees

There are two large pine trees situated near our property, but not on our property, one at the front and one at the back. Both overhang our garden and are a real nuisance, creating a lot of debris which falls on to the garden and also cutting out most of the sunlight. This means that it is extremely difficult to successfully grow plants in these areas of the plot.
What is the lega situation please as regards cutting down or, at least, pruning these trees, which presumably are the property of the local Ayuntamiento. Thank you.
