Driving in Spain

Hi all, not sure if this is right place as it is my first posting!!! I am moving over to spain in Apr next year and would liketo drive. I have a full UK car licence, but believe the DVLAwill not let you use Spanish address on the licence! Do I have to apply for a Spanish EU Licence or risk using my old UK address. Thanks for any info. Skelly
