We have recently had a radio phone (track 7000 system) installed after only 5 years since we asked for it!
We have been given 3 telephone numbers. 1 for the phone, 1 for internet and 1 for fax. Dont need the internet one, but do want to use the fax number. There is only one socket to connect to, so the engineer said we would need an adaptor. No problem.
However, I really dont understand how this works. If using an adaptor, and someone rings the telephone number, surely the fax will ring aswell. How will the adaptor know which to ring - the phone or the fax ??
Has anyone got the same system and successfully set it up?
Any advice would help.
