Does anyone out there know anything about Specsavers coming to Torrevieja.

SPecsavers

Before Christmas, someone who said he was the Business Development Director for Specsavers stoped me outside Habeneros and asked if I thought they should set up in Torrevieja and if I thought town or VilaMartin was the best place for them to be.

Yes, we will be doing all the usual Specsavers offers - anything you see advertised in the UK should be available for us to offer. We are sourcing our lenses from the UK until a few more Specsavers are open in Spain - one in Fuenguirola has just opened - but we will have a lab on site for a pretty quick turn round. Also we will be offering the UK eye test which is not the same as the Spanish one!! In Spain the optometrist is qualified to test the vision but not the health of the eye. The UK eye test is fairly comprehensive and includes a health check.

Anyway, off to pack the last of our things.
