I'm thinking about buying a small section of my neighbours garden, about 24 sg mtrs.?Is it a complicated process, approximately how long would it take?, and what costs are involved?

It is not possible to segregate 24 mtrs. of a plot as it is smaller than the legal area. However your neighbour could sell you a percentage equivalent to the 24 mtrs. from the total plot, being able to determine its private use.
