Hi there,

We are planning to buy ceiling and general lighting in the U.K and then fit in our apartment.

Can anyone advise if they will work o.k in Spain - ?

We fit all our electrical lighting and fans etc., without any problems..nothing different..

Once you get used to the single wires and the different types of plugs, then everything is pretty much the same although some of way they fuse the circuits can be misleading.
Many stores will include fitting if you were to purchase a number of electrical items...Might be easier than bringing stuff over from the UK.


One of the problems with tiled floors etc., is that extending or fitting additional sockets and lights can be a problem...that's why they use so many multiple sockets...
For white goods and TV...check out Tien 21 at Caba Roig, they were brilliant with ours.
