      Some general points of letting:

If you have a fully legal contract evicting a tenant in arrears is not a problem. If you decide to cut off their services you risk prosecution and can lead you to more problems.

Whilst it might be tempting to take tenants without a proper contract if they decide to default you have no legal rights and if they know theirs you can be in trouble.

The Spanish government are now checking electricity consumption (via info provided by Iberdrola) against 'empty' houses - so look out if you are not declaring rent income for tax.

        Hi,

Recently some friends had a tenant problem. They were advised to remove the front and back doors of the property. Game over in one month. Apparently proving who had "taken" the doors can be a problem!!!
