  • Water Park.

    Hi,

I'm staying in Villamartin and wondering what there's to do in the area. Is los altos close by? We're students and wondering about places for good food, bars etc. Also I've heard there's a good water park. We won't be renting a car and was wondering how to get there, how far it is?

      Waterparks

Here are two links to waterparks - the first is in Quesada, about 12 miles from Villamartin and the other is near Carrefore in Torrevieja and closer to Villamartin.

Thank you. Which of these two water parks do you think would be better/more fun?

If you're not renting a car it will be difficult to reach various activity places anyway.

There is a local bus service that goes quite near to the beaches and to various commercial centres. There is a tourist office at the local townhall (ayuntamiento) at Playa Flamenca, which is usually quite helpful. There are also taxis for venturing further afield.

                  Hello Alornable,

I have not been to either but I have been told that Quesada is more suited to younger children and Torrevieja is more suitable for late teens and older. (I am not old enough for either one yet!![image]http://www.websmileys.com/sm/fam/fam20.gif[/image])

                  Enjoy it.

we were in the Torrevieja park in July, great day out. Nearly crapped myself on the zigzag, queues were a bit of a bind but it was the first week of the Spanish holidays.
