We went to Zoco market on Sunday, it was very busy, but I don't know if people were buying.

Playa Flamenca market was deathly quiet and those that were buying were buying food.

Pilar de la Horadada market, the same could be said.

Spending on all but essentials appears to have stopped particularly by expats.
the Spanish never 'fritter' their money if you notice.
