    Default Drought condition?

Coming over next week & looking forward to lazing in the pool for a few weeks BUT to my horror apparently there is a bad drought there now & many swimming pools are being emptied!

is this the case? our place in on Serena !V, Playa Flamenca

    thanks

As far as I'm aware there are no public water saving enforcements going on at the moment. There are a lot of public service notices on the Spanish media encouraging water savings, such as sponging rather than hosing cars, showering rather than bathing, sprinkling rather than hosing gardens etc. etc. The announcements say that everyone needs to cooperate to prevent more stringent measures in future. Apart from that some authorities have made their own cuts, but are not enforcing cuts on the public.

Thanks Jane, don't know what we'd do without the pool!

(I do really, we would be forced to sit in Harlequins Spanish bar all day with the best air conditioning ever but this does not = happy wifey!)
